I have a pdf file i forgot the pw to and just wondering if there are any good free programs to recover it. I looked online a little bit but most you gotta pay to get the pw off. Any suggestions for a decent free one?

Sorry don't know of any free ones. All the ones we use at work are commercial ones.
I found this one: http://www.pdfkey.com/?gclid=CIPJw9-ji5YCFQ6T1QodXx6-FQ that has a free trail, not sure what the limits are though.

thnx for the recommendation. I tried it and it seems the trial wont unlock it like most others...

i acquired a password removal software and when i use it, it will take the pw off but when i open the file it claims to be 5 pages long but they are completly blank. I find that odd, im going to play with it more and see if something different changes but its weird

Not sure if you run linux or not, but you could run a LiveCD and install/crack it on whatever rig the file is on.
