Sapphire Radeon HD4870 512MB Graphics Card
Review Image The Sapphire Radeon HD4870 512MB graphics card may look just like a unit from the HD3870 series, but it is a top of the line model offering a PCI Express X16 interface, a 750MHz core clock, and 900MHz GDDR5 memory which makes things very interesting thanks to the greatly increased bandwidth (in comparison to GDDR3 and GDDR4). OCZ Technology EliteXStream 800W Power Supply
Review Image There are more than enough cables for video cards, hard drives, optical drives, and peripherals. All cables are long and there should not be an issue reaching most locations in large full tower systems. Having a high efficiency power supply will save money on your electric bill, another added bonus to purchasing the EliteXStream 800W unit. [link]

Kingwin EL-35EU-SBL Elite USB 2.0 and eSATA Drive Enclosure
Review Image Kingwin's EL-35EU-SBL Elite USB 2.0 and eSATA drive enclosure is a sharp looking product that could simply use some better software. If you want an eSATA drive enclosure and only need basic back up capabilities, already have back up software, or don't intend to use the back up capabilities, I could recommend this enclosure. Charity Yard Sale:

Over the next several weeks I'll be clearing the shelves of some old, and some not so old hardware.  The terms are that I am going to give 50% off all sales to a charity that deals with Aplastic Anemia. I will keep adding things to the list and will cut a check from time to time when the dollar amount gets high enough. Shipping is calculated separately and not included in the 50/50 split. People can pay via money order, check, or Paypal, and I will eat the Paypal fees (for now).  For more information please visit this link

Of interest to newsletter subscribers is that anyone who buys something and confirms that they are a subscriber will be entered to receive a $25 gift card from Best Buy.  Not a bad deal...  get some cheap hardware, help out a charity, and have pretty good odds at winning a little something extra.

The charity yard sale and gift card promotion ends September 30, 2008, or when I run out of things to sell, which ever comes first.
