Modulok and I went to a tech gadget kind of show in NYC tonight, and I learned not to drive my car in. The wife's Trailblazer will be brought back as the city cruiser of choice. First of all, I was paranoid of getting dings, scratches, and whatever else as every loony got way to close on bike, cab, bus, etc... An SUV provides way more confidence when getting up close and personal.
But the kicker was trying to park. The first garage turned me away saying my car was too big. The next place turned me away saying my car was too nice and they couldn't protect it. Luckily the third place took us, as I was tired of driving.
